Abstract

ELV is a vehicle that has reached the end of its life or services due to age or because the vehicle cannot be used because of major accident and the cost to repair is high. ELV vehicle current procedures to demolish are unregistered, dismantling, depollution and dismantle. Each of the procedures have to follow the proper regulation. This research is basically a survey about Malaysians knowledge about End-of-Life vehicle (ELV) in Malaysia. The focus in research is the public community in Malaysia. Other than that, it is also to know respondents awareness about ELV. The objectives of this research are to understand the procedure of ELV process, to conduct on the awareness and understanding of ELV in Malaysia. The method used in this research is survey by using questionnaire. Result obtain in this research is majority of the respondents have low knowledge about ELV but most of them agree about the implementation of ELV in Malaysia. Lastly, respondents also agreed that Malaysia should have more campaign about ELV and choose media social as the most relevant medium to spread the campaign.
